By unusual angle and different point of view we mean a picture captured with a special angle, a completely different perspective or point of view. An unusual angle, out of the box thinking for a spefific image. A non conventionnal image.
To be won:
1st place winner: Nikon Digital Camera D5000 and 18-105VR lens combo
2 place winner: Nikon P90 Digital Camera
3place winner : 300 prints and a choice from any of our courses from our regular scedule. (non negociable)
Règlements du concours
- Both amateur and professionnal photographer can participate.
- Only one picture per participant will be allowed.
- The submitted picture can be from a digital file (from a digital camera) or from a scan of printed picture, negative or slide in order to be presented on our website to be voted on.
- Maximum size for the image is 1200px X 1800px at 300DPI and smaller than 1000kb (1 Mb). Any picture that dosen’t meet these specific requests will be rejected without any further notice.
- The presented picture must respect the Theme. To be qualified for the contest.
- No photo assembly or montage will be accepted, it has to be a single image to be eligible for the contest.
- Adjustments for lighting, contrast and colors are allowed.
- The contest takes place from june 20 2009 0:00h until september 14 2009 23:59h. Any pictures submitted after this date will automatically be refused.
- Only .jpg ou jpeg files will be accepted. No other type of files (Raw ou Tiff) will be accepted.
- The participant MUST be the author of the picture presented for the contest.
- Photo Laplante employees and members of their family will not be eligible for this contest.
- Voting period will be from september 15 2009 0 :00h until september 29 2009 23 :59h. The winners will be announced on October 1st 2009
- The eligible winners will need to provide the original picture (digital file, print, negative or slide) in FULL ZIZE resolution.
- Photo Laplante will réserve the rights to use the winning images for any publicity or prints or any types of use. The photographer will give a full release of the image.
